Overview
Duplication differs from our replication process in that it involves pre-manufactured recordable media, either DVD-R or CD-R. Instead of the data being integrated into the media as dots and pits within the plastic substrate while it is being manufactured (as in replication), the data is “burned” onto pre-existing blank recordable media using DVD/CD duplication equipment. This process is similar to VHS or cassette duplication, where a master source is placed into the duplicating equipment, along with pieces of blank recordable media, which the data will then be copied to.

Great Lakes Media Technology uses only the highest quality recordable media and duplication equipment available on the market today while still maintaining a competitive price for this service. The benefits of using only the highest quality recordable media are: less disc “scrapping” (media that fail during the recording process), longer disc life, and greater player compatibility. Once we duplicate your media, it can be screen printed just as if it were replicated, giving your recordable media a totally professional look.
